Program Overview

Five quarters, 100 credits, 1650 contact hours
Have you always wanted to be a hair, make-up, or nail artist? Are you interested in the latest sculpting, styling, and / or coloring techniques? Do you want the flexibility to run your own business or work for a professional salon? Then our Cosmetology Program is for you.

A typical day on the job includes: Cutting hair, coloring hair, styling hair, polishing nails, performing general skin care techniques, and scheduling appointments.

The core curriculum is designed to prepare you to take the State Board of Cosmetology Licensing Examination.

Admission Policy

Students must be 16 years of age and provide proof of a high school diploma or GED® and meet the Career Programs Assessment Test (CPAt) score for admission. This is a Veterans Administration (VA) approved program.
