Tuition & Payment

Tuition rates are set by the Washington State Legislature. Tuition does not include books, lab fees or transportation. Please note that tuition and fees are subject to change.

For academic, social security, VA insurance and loan guarantor purposes 12 or more credits is considered full–time. In order to be verified as enrolled, tuition and fees must be paid.

Outstanding Debts

Pursuant to state law (RCW 28B.10.293 and RCW 19.16.500) any debts to the college will be increased by costs and expenses incurred in the collection of such debts.

Refunds

Need a refund? Your class fees and transportation fees follow the tuition refund schedule. There is no charge for dropping classes after the first day of class when a refund is not involved. Refunds are subject to a forfeiture fee ($6 minimum). Please allow at least three weeks for receipt of refunds. All refunds will be mailed.

Tuition Refund Schedule

  • Withdrawal due to class cancellation by the institution (less $6 fee): 100 percent
  • Withdrawal prior to the first day of class (less $6 fee): 100 percent
  • Withdrawal during the first five instructional days of class (less $6 fee): 100 percent
  • Withdrawal from the 6th through the 20th calendar day of the quarter (less $6 fee): 50 percent
  • Withdrawal after the first twenty (20) calendar days of the quarter (less $6 fee): 0 percent

Note: The transportation fee is nonrefundable if any portion of it has been used. No refund will be given to a student who is dismissed from the College for disciplinary reasons or who fails to follow official withdrawal procedures.
