Internships and Employment

Upon successful completion of all program requirements, including good attendance and demonstration of professionalism, Seattle Vocational Institute students may be placed in internships. An internship is a supervised, unpaid learning experience which provides you with the opportunity to transition from the classroom to the workplace. While internships are a learning opportunity, they also enable you to become valuable contributors to the workplace.

Seattle Vocational Institute provides Student Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage for Allied Health students at no cost to the internship site. For information on internship sites, requirements for qualification and internship opportunities, contact your internship coordinator.
